Theme 10 A greener future Exploration of innovative ways to power vehicles from renewable sources is a top priority in this theme. The development of greater community benefit from renewable energy is also a feature. However, the enhancement of habitat networks and the enjoyment and celebration of the natural heritage are equally important within this theme. A list of actions of the Development and Action Plan gives more details of the actions identified and those being carried out. Current projects The Energy Saving Scotland advice centre Highlands and Islands is offering property owners in the Dornoch and Ardgay areas the chance to join the home renewables revolution by making the most of its free impartial advice service. Interested householders can speak to qualified energy advisors, find out about renewable energy systems, book a free home visit and receive a free home renewables energy report.
